i second the block feeding - my first was like this and it when i block fed it fixed her up a treat - was too much foremilk which goes through their digestive system a lot quicker than the hind milk which doesnt give them enough time to break down the lactase in the milk.

Im having the same issues at the mo. Aiden is feeding all the time, qrizzly and windy inbetween with lots of very watery very green poos- no brown or yellow at all, just dark green. Will offer one boob for longer and see how we go. Was fine until day before yesterday, then became unsettled and feeding all the time, then the green poo started yesterday. I was going to say the same as hippymama. I'd say too much foremilk. It'll come out in the wash...dont be too worried. If he is exclusively breastfed, and you think he is having a growth spurt (highly likely), it sounds like he is getting more foremilk than hindmilk - this is what tends to change the color of their poos (if they are drinking lots and often). You can try and 'block feed' to rebalance things a little, which is offer as often as possible and only one side only for 3-4 hours, then switch sides for another 3-4 hours and so on and so forth.

So yes, it is absolutely normal, will definitely pass and his poos will soon resume their usual lovely bright yellow color, I promise

No, no froth. Looked just like his normal yellow poos but slightly green, more brown than green really.

Strange question I guess.

 

I have just changed Coopers nappy and his poos were a sort of greeny/brown colour with the white flecky bits that are normally found in his yellow poos. Is this normal?? Should I be concerned at all??

 

I think he may have been going through a bit of a growth spurt the last day or so, has been quite grizzly and feeding sort of every hour and a half to two hours. Other than being a bit grizzly he seems happy enough

 

Of course I googled it and it came up with all these lovely scenarios  Really should learn not to do that
