Could be a thyroid issue or a number of things that can be easily put right.

Keep on at the Dr till you are satisfied.

Stressing & thinking the worst will not help you & may make things worst.

(We don't know if this has anything to do with it)

She has hot flushes, rashes, no period or sometimes periods that last for two weeks. She went to the doc and they told her it could be early menopause (she's only 45)

Sorry that is probably not helpful at all

Edited by kaiz231

    Author: mum2paris
Subject: 30695
Posted: 30 December 2009 at 12:15am

Hey there ladies, long time since I last posted anything really. I am just needing some help and advice.. kinda looking for anyone who has gone thru this.

Just before I had the M/C about nearly 3 years ago now, I had begun to have irregular cycles, between 25 to 40 days, after the M/C, it kinda settled back down a little but still not terribly predictable.

So around the end of last year, it started back up again, with the time around the wedding being 3 full months with no AF (I put it down to wedding stress), however it has carried on and this year has been so much worse. Sometimes having Af 2 times within 2 weeks, and now was last around end of Sept, so is kinda coming up to 3 months again. Am seriously sick of it, I get flushes, really bad hot flushes, used to be just at work originally before the M/C, but now it's most places, wake up with hot sweats etc.

I am waiting for test results to see what's happening with hormones etc as i finally was fed up with not knowing what the heck is going on with me

Has anyone else had this happen - or going through this right now? I am fed up, and with my moods being soooo different in the long times between AF, I am wondering if this has maybe been the cause of all the other problems previously because in the times between, I am such a different person, happier, calmer, anxiety is zilch. I am starting to think that the problem with my melt down a couple of years back, actually may have stemmed from a medical problem to do with hormones etc that started way back before #3.

ARGHARGHARGH. Stupid female stuff, soooo annoying.

(made ven nicer by my mum suggesting it was menopause because apparently all the ladies in my family go through it early... not at 27 though surely!!)

Help?
