I've just had some blood tests due to my irregular cycles and found out that during my shorter cycles (16) I actually ovulate during my period. Isn't that odd in a funny way? I do remember being very confused during that particular cycle cos I experienced OV symptoms during my period but thought I was totally imagining it.

Has anyone experienced this or know of anyone who has? I've heard of it before but have never come across it myself and in fact never quite believed it. Thought it was just scare mongering by adults.

What it means is that we have to consider ourselves fertile from 14 days before my AF arrives on my shortest cycle all the way to 14 days before my AF arrives on my longest cycle. Now that's a lot of BD'ing. Guess that's the "fun" of having irregular cycles.
