If your cycle is irregular (like mine) and you want a girl, you bd 3 days before you would ov (14 days before the last day of your cycle) in you're shortest cycle (and move a day closer if that doesn't work next cycle) but it worked for us first month. I tracked my cycle for about 4-5 months before we tried.  We only had one bd per child - Jake on ov day and Morgan 3 days prior. <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />My doc has told this method to hundreds of her patients and only one didn't get what they wanted - so I believe it works if done properly (ie 3 days out for a girl).]]>

This time we thought it would be fun to try for a girl so by charting (temp and CM) we did it. I was on clomid and had been temping for months so I knew when I was due to ov etc if it was going to happen at all.]]>

I used the ones that plan it out on an actual calendar rather than like the one you did. It shows you when your AF is as well as a rise & fall in peak times.]]>

I would be thrilled to have either. BUT I have read on a few websites that if you bd at different phases of cycle you are more likely to have a boy or girl - I think it is earlier for a girl and just on ovulation for a boy - something about the strength of the different swimmers.....? <br /><br />(one example is this website:http://www.thebabywebsite.com/ovulationCalendar.php) <br /><br />Has anyone tried this?  has it worked?
