Well we mucked up this month but if we dont get UTD I will doing what you suggested emz.. it was the plan I just thought I was about to ov and didnt then had to get another bd in to make sure we got a baby LOL.

We used the timing method and it worked for us. If your cycle is irregular (like mine) and you want a girl, you bd 3 days before you would ov (14 days before the last day of your cycle) in you're shortest cycle (and move a day closer if that doesn't work next cycle) but it worked for us first month. I tracked my cycle for about 4-5 months before we tried. We only had one bd per child - Jake on ov day and Morgan 3 days prior.

We followed the shettles method, not first time as we were awaiting my fertility appt so don't really know when I ov'd but the dates would say we did what you would do for a boy. This time we thought it would be fun to try for a girl so by charting (temp and CM) we did it. You do need to know when you ov, whether this is by EWM or have a proper test or what every but I used the calendars, I figured I had a normal ov cycle.

You also I think need a clockwork cycle length wise otherwise you will probably be oving on different times each month that you actually ov.

We based it on the peak days of the ov calendars. I used the ones that plan it out on an actual calendar rather than like the one you did. Yep girl swimmers are slower but last longer and boy swimmers swim faster but die earlier, in the right "living" environments that is. Hi

First up I would like to say I am asking this out of curiosity rather than any strong desire to have a specific gender of baby. I would be thrilled to have either. BUT I have read on a few websites that if you bd at different phases of cycle you are more likely to have a boy or girl - I think it is earlier for a girl and just on ovulation for a boy - something about the strength of the different swimmers.....?

Has anyone tried this? has it worked? I'm just really curious. I didn't know it worked that way I just thought it was totally random.
