I've only tried it once with a friend's baby, but yes you can put the dble cover on with the baby lying down and the toddler on top.

Yes you can put the cover over the toddler when its got the newborn underneath. Sarah good point I only thought about the pram part. The Vibe came with a plastic thingey that you attach to the hood that blocked out rain, although I doubt it covers that far down (im not sure we have never used it as we went straight to the double covers).

Surely the single covers cover that back part somehow, otherwise you wouldnt be able to keep the newborn dry.

thats why i actually like using the double rain cover if henrys lying down. i dont know about fitting the covers over it when its in newborn/toddler mode because we havent tried that yet.
However we bought ours a few months ago when we found out we were pregnant and just got the double covers. We went straight to double covers to save money.

When it's in double mode, newborn lying flat and toddler n top, Can you pull the sunshade dover the toodler? and if not can you not put the double covers on when it's like that too.

Another question. Is the much point in buying single covers when I get my buggy or should I just go straight to double covers, even though I'll only be using buggy as single until baby is born.
