I should have been a bit more specific, I was more referring to if implantation had already occurred. Looking at the notes I took at the lecture, the reasoning behind it is that the neocortex neurons (brain cells) do not begin to develop until the 5th week.<br /><br />]]>

At a lecture from a developmental neuropsychologist last week it was mentioned that there is a 4-5 week 'grace period' where alcohol cannot affect the embryo, so I would think it would be similar with pain relief? To be on the safe side though maybe try cutting it down as soon as you feel you can, and if that isn't possible check with your doctor?  Good luck.  ]]>

Panadol is fine, and the codine Im not sure about.  <br />I am  trying to take the minimum amount, just incase.  BUt not so much that the pain is unbearable.  Its ok atm, the nerve block only came out this morning so is still half numb so no pain yet.<br />I hope you recover quickly and the TTC process isnt hindered <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> <br />It will be interesting to see what anyone else says..]]>
