I had mine removed during a period, family planning wont usually book you in for it till you are having it as your cervix is softer at this time makes removal 'easier' or something

ohh and going through family planning is so much cheaper! only cost me $5 but if I was to go through my doctors it was going to cost $45!

I just had mine removed 4 months ago, they say you can actually get it removed at any time however apparently it is easier when you have AF.
Apparently your cervix is softer at this time.

Knew I was meant to ring somewhere before they closed - and it was Family Planning to find out when the best time of my cycle is to get my IUD removed! So, can anyone tell me??
