Jackson also had a tummy bug and is still vomiting now. Sporadically. It's a pain in the butt!

Anyway, our Speech/Language Therapist has said a few times that baby can learn to make themselves sick. I know of course why Jackson would do it, but not sure why Catriona would! But just wanted to let you know that *apparently* it can happen.

They can become lactose intolerant after have a tummy bug so that could be the cause. Think it is only for a week or so, someone else might know better, I just remember the gp saying it was good that Spencer was on neocate after he had rotovirus as they can become lactose intolerant.

    Author: catisla
Subject: 27619
Posted: 21 July 2009 at 6:21pm

The weekend before last, my DD had a high temp and vomiting, which i assume was down to some kind of bug or virus (that is what healthline told me)

Since then, however, i have only had one day when she hasn't vomited. Her temp is back to normal, but it seems that she gets past a certain stage of 'fullness' and then throws-up. The vomiting doesn't bother her and she then carries on playing as normal. She is eating much less than usual though.

She is in daycare in the day and they havn't mentioned her vomiting.

anyone experienced anything like this before? Could it be that she has learned the 'habit' of vomiting since being unwell. She has never had any reflux or spilling problems before now

Please help if you can!
