We're still sterilising teats and I wash the bottles in the dishwasher.. it is kind of a habit thing! We drink boiled water so C does too, but it's cooled and left at room temp for the day, not refrigerated. We stopped at 6 months...but still use boiled or filtered water for everything.

yep its 3 months pretty much when they start putting things even their hands in their mouths. I liked sterilizing the bottle though lol, they were always SO clean and perfect afterwards. I stopped about 3 months onwards. By this stage Lily was just starting to put bits and pieces of stuff into her mouth and as long as the bottles were washed with hot soapy water, I was told by plunket (and on numerous websites) this is ok!

I stopped sterilising Heidis bottles when she was about 6 months old but still use boiled water for her bottles and just use tap water for her sippy cup, don't know why actually just do LOL. hmm i think i stopped at 3months. But we werent bottle feeding so it was just his pacifier we were sterilising. Just started washing his things with hot soapy water and then rinsing with hot water.
