Reasons - sometimes he's a real picky eater, and he's also having a few issues around weight gain and he could do with the extra calories etc. But I will introduce milk as well cos formula is so bloody expensive

Looks like Cadens drinks about the same amount as Hannah
Nana got us 2 tins of the toddler milk so we will use that up first and then start him on cows milk, but I will start him on some cows milk with his breakfast I think. He is a really good eater, he will eat most things you put in front of him lol, so no issues there!
Thanks for that Charly

And yep! 30 weeks!! Its really wizzed by this time, and I cant believe Caden is nearly one, time sure does fly

Sheesh.
Where does time go!!

Hannah had her last breastfeed on her 1st birthday
She's been on 3 x 200ml bottles of cow's milk a day.
So at 600mls a day that's 4.2L of milk a week.
Each 2L bottle is $2.89 at New World.
Costs a little over $6 per week for milk.
I'm not sure how many bottles you'll get out of a tim of formula - but that gives you an idea on milk costs

Personally, I think toddler formula isn't really necessary.
Kids that age generally should be getting everything they need from their diet.
If Caden is a picky eater, then topping him up with formula could be a good idea.

But it's personal choice, really
He loves his milk and has a bottle in the morning before his breakfast(in bed cos its warm) and then he has another bottle around 3pm and then one before bed, he usually has 250ml a bottle. Should I just go with what he wants or should I cut his milk feeds down to just 2 a day, which is I think what plunket say to do, but I dont tend to listen too much to what plunket say lol
