They're a great idea, I recommend them to everybody (it might have even been me that recommended them to you GingerBaby!). As I understand it (although I could be wrong!) they're all a mix of types and brands except the Pepsicles ones which are all HC or Fuzzis.

Hi new mums and mums to be, I went to the Nappy Expo on the weekend and came away only slightly clearer on what I wanted to put my little one's bum in when it comes along. Am doing all the research, and along the way have come across hiring packs of nappies/inserts/covers etc for newborns - genius!

This doc shows locations across the country that hire kits out and what's included, cost etc.

I was told at the expo that little bums grow from a size small to a medium at about 8-12 weeks, so hiring a kit for $10pw over buying the equivalent amount in nappy gear is a great cost saver, plus you get to try a couple of different brands/types of nappies so you can work out what's best for you and bubs.
