However parties that only the 'friend' is invited to are often drop off affairs so think about how you will cope with the extra drops offs. I've always had relatively cheap low key parties for under fives for this reason. ]]>

It may be that their parents don't wish to have both their kids there but if they aren't able to find alternate care it does give them that exception.]]>

We have a few preschool friends where they have either an older or younger sibling at the preschool who might play with our other child. This year Kobe invited his preschool friends and there were at least two that had siblings in the preschool with Addison but I only invited the child that Kobe plays with. But if it was a family friend and we know them all really well then i would be inviting all the kids. It can get really expensive though!]]>

If they are only a little older, would it be rude not to invite them?
