    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=21640">pukeko</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25722<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 April 2009 at 8:51pm<br /><br />I know exactly what you mean!<br />My DS (who is 5.5 months old) has been fab at sleeping during the day - and then the last three days he seems to have decided that he doesnt need them!<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0"> <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0">  he had one sleep today for 2 hours (he fell asleep on my lap) - but i'm wondering if maybe he is having some teeth movement going on?<br /><br />He was quite grizzly<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">  and just wasnt himself so i gave him some pamol and a rusk to have a little chew on and that's when he decided to have a bit of a sleep.  <br />Anyway...am sending sympathy vibes your way - here's hoping both our DS's settle back into some kind of routine soon!]]>

Even now though, he will have a tanty if he doesn't want to go down for a nap, or he will talk to himself in his cot for ages and not sleep and I end up getting him up again. I put him down at about 2.30 today and he is still awake and chatting to himself, so I figure, he is happy and resting so thats something I guess!<br /><br />Maybe try just 2 naps a day, at that age Caden was more wakeful than sleepy, so he had and still has 2, 2-3 hour sleeps, and that keeps him happy as larry.<br /><br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19337">JessDub</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25722<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 April 2009 at 3:22pm<br /><br />My 5 month old DS has gone from a predictable 3 naps per day, self-settling, to not wanting a nap (screaming) at the normal times.<br /><br />I don't like him screaming and so upset so I'll get him up and he'll either stay up til bedtime (solid routine) or fall asleep in car or while being fed - all bad things.<br /><br />Is this a phase perhaps? I'm going a bit mental.]]>
