Spoke too soon..... she tried to take off her dress at Church playgroup this morning!! lol toddlers are great and confusing fun! Mine doesn't do that thankfully but my little brother did and he would strip down anywhere! Even when we were out, the minute he noticed no one was looking he'd be starkers, even the nappy came off. Thanks for your thoughts ladies... glad to hear others out there are having to deal with the Nakie toddler train too.

Just hope she doesn't do it tomorrow - she is a flower girl at a wedding!! ... luckily the taking off clothes thing has only happened at home or in the car.... so hopefully not down the aisle!

Yep Isla has done it too,..shes now at the 'Its fun to see how many layers of clothes I can where at once" stage,..and thats halerious too. I never worried about her stripping, just let her go for it, and she has stopped. ROFL I had two of these, Hannah was particularly bad for it. The best thing is to not worry about it. They are just happy to do something for themselves, and undressing is what it is! Unfortunately it takes another couple of months to learn dressing hehe. Rhiannon has just been through this stage, and i just let her go, they dont seem to feel the cold, and im sure coming into the colder weather they wont do it as much, (and from experience the more i tried to stop her the more she did it).

Rhiannon has spent most of the last 3 mths running around in just her undies, (at home, the grandparents and even kindy), (although at kindy i was there at the time).

I think this is a thing they do. I have a photo of my DD running about in the garden starkers after a bath and she was 5.

They learn very quickly to put clothes on if it's cold and it they are at home I wouldn't worry one little bit. I have one of these as well, I pretty much let him hang out in just a nappy. ( a cloth one with snaps as he takes disposables and velcro nappies off!).

He also tries to take his clothes off as I'm putting them on him which is most annoying. I find that trousers need to be a good fit, preferable with a button or belt or both then he can't get them off and he has trouble removing long sleeved tops

Does anyone else have a toddler who wants to take off their clothes all the time???

My oldest has just turned 22 mths and suddenly she is obsessed with always taking her clothes off... it is driving me nuts. I have tried time out and verbal boundaries... but nothing is working so far.

I asked my Mum if my sister and I were ever like that, and she said no - although I was known for changing into lots of changes of clothes - but not doing the naked thing!

She is going to get very cold in winter!
