Thanks for your replies ladies

I tried again to feed her today. I read up a bit on the net and used some of the advice and it went perfectly! She downed 250mls no probs. My little star. Was a little sad but so relieved that she took the bottle. Have you tried changing the teat?

I tried Arianne on the no.3 Avent teat and she didnt like it one bit and went back to no.2 teat and she drank it. It may be the taste that put her off. Did you try mixing bm in with the formula. When I weaned Dom on to formula I had to start with a 2/3 bm 1/3 formula mix and slowly change the ratio of bm and formula until it was all formula. Hey all. I go back to work in two weeks time so we tried to offer Iliana a bottle of formula for her third feed today and she flat out refused it. Wouldn't have a bar of it. Screamed and everything. DH did the offering and I was WAAAYYYY outside.

When we did the same with Noah he took to the bottle without any problems so I am not sure what to try next. Do we just keep trying every day? How long before we give in and I just give her the breast instead? What if she never takes a bottle? I am going to work and won't be able to keep up the breastfeeding - ARGH - starting to get worried.
