Had the worst night last night and she still isn't great today but at least a bit better than last night - she is now sleeping but just waking to spew and then sleeping again, last night she would just cry. It took gripe water, colimed spray and a dummy to get her to sleep!

Maya can I ask what kind of allergy formula you gave your gremlins? DH is allergic to eggs but I have eaten them and Eva seems ok, I also didn't have peanuts the whole time I was pregnant, not sure if I can have them now?? I am hoping I can have soy, going to get some soy milk and will try that out.

I too have the same problem. Mine is worse if I have ice cream - then come the power chucks. I cut out the icecream but couldn't bring myself to cutting out the rest of my dairy intake - especially cheese and just put up with the increased spilling/wind. But then noticed Ariahn is also suffering from dry skin and eczema and so have decided to cut all dairy out and see what happens.

Unfortunately my first daughter had severe food allergies (including diary intolerance) so I am used to food exclusion diets in babies/toddlers - except I didn't breast feed for long with my first so never had to alter my own diet. Will be a learning curve and already missing my cheese!!

Edited by VannesaD

Even now (4 months on) I can't have a glass of milk or lots of cheese without paying for it later. It makes her really mucousy, unsettled, grizzly and spewy.

Funnily enough, I can have an icecream and no problem (yay).. It's not uncommon for babies to react to dairy via breastmilk from what I have read...you just have to kind of ride it out, and be particularly careful when they are starting solids which contain dairy in case they have an actual allergy/intolerance.
