After the birth it was OK for a while but got worse as DS grew and became heavier to lug around lol. Since having the therapy my back has been great - was kicking myself for not doing anything about it earlier (orginated from a horse riding accident 5 years ago).</P>]]>

One side of my pelvis was higher than the other!  It can be common after ventouse/forceps delivery (which I had).  He manipulated it back into place (wasn't as bad as it sounds), and I walked out of there with no pain in my back and haven't had since then - amazing!!]]>

I went to the physio and she worked on my back for a few weeks, its better now, but man does it hurt somedays!]]>

I feel like an old women being so stiff int he back.]]>

In the end I went to see an osteopath (they are a bit gentler than chriopractors) and that helped a lot.<br />If you are co-sleeping with bubs tucked up on your arm then that will cause a bit of pain too, its a lovely cuddle but not great for your back.]]>

Also if you had an epidural some woman have a niggly back on and off for some months after.]]>

I believe my pain was because I had a posterior baby during labour and all the pain during child birth was in my back, particularly my tail bone.<br /><br />15 months on some days it can still ache like hell!]]>

I find i get really bad pain particularly when i wake up in the morning (i feel as stiff as a board!) - and trying to roll over isnt the nicest!<br />I wore a belly belt towards the end of my pregnancy due to higher back pain.  My little boy is 4 months old now and a heavier wee thing so that probably isnt helping.  Does a caeserean have any impact??  Interested in anyone elses thoughts on this...]]>
