He walked down the hallway pointed to the toilet door and said Wees.<br /><br />So put him on the toilet and he did wees!!!<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />Wow so proud ! His first wee on the loo and he held it all night. Can't believe it!]]>

No pressure is the way to go.<br /><br />We will take it slow it's good that he sits on the loo and is not scared. <br /><br />He's growing up toooo fast!!]]>

He likes to flush the toilet and wash his hands as much as anything else but he is getting the idea. The main thing is not to put any pressure on it. <br />You might want to try pull ups instead of nappies as they will let him know what its like to feel wet, and are heaps easier than naps to get on and off when putting them on the toilet. ]]>

So maybe let him run around with no pants and have the potty right there for him. We have ours in the lounge so when i'm feeding she can go without my help.</P>]]>

Ella has started doing some of the same things and then a couple of weeks ago surprised me by&nbsp;going 'wee pss pss' while I was changing her nappy so I asked if she wanted to sit on the potty.....she sat on it and I went to the other room to get rid of her nappy and came back and she had done a wee in the potty<IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">&nbsp;Now I just ask her every now and then if she wants to do a wee and if she says yes then we go and sit on the potty and see what happens (most of time nothing, but hey it's a start). </P><P align=left>I figure while it is nice and hot it's a good time to start and they can spend a lot of time without a nappy on. </P>]]>

My boy was exactly the same, I just let him use the potty and toilet at home at at my mums but never when we were out for quite a while. He was fully trained about 2 months after turning two, which is pretty young for a boy, but he was ready, it seemed silly to me to hold him back when he showed all the signs. ]]>
