we never got accommodation as i got annoyed with all the paperwork :)

Last time I looked (probably 1yr+) we earnt too much for the accomodation supplement.

Yep, make an appt with a Working For Families Case Manager at WINZ (most offices have them) and make sure you tell the Call Centre person (if you book through them) that you're not sure what you can apply for. Otherwise they will just assume you know and book you an appt for 1 thing where there could be others. Accommodation Supplement is the main one if you have a partner in full time work though.

From WINZ we get an accommodation supplement (about $40 a week) which you may be entitled for.
Also I am pretty sure you can still get a parental tax credit? instead of paid parental leave. I have been working for a while now but only 1 day a week and only about 8hrs a day so I an not eligible for PPL this time around.
We should be entitled to Family Assistance (or whatever it's called) once we have 2 children.
