Everything else is provided.

I had DD2 at Waikato during the birth room renovations and i found it great, i had an old room but the toilet was right behind me and the room was huge, i got room no.1 which i think was one of the bigger rooms. I transferred to River Ridge after the birth for DD2.
Im a really light eater before, but after the birth i chowed down anything and everything. even the foods that i hated.

i used so many of the hospital supplies lol, took a days worth of nappies home with me too hehe.

They provide just about everything you need for baby except clothes. Take more clothes than you think you need for baby as accidents (surprise wees and spills) happen.
You need to take your own nursing pads for when your milk comes in.
I second TysMummy the soap is disgusting, take your own. There pillows are horrible too, have plastic under the pillow case and it makes you really hot so try to take your own.
Oh and wraps for your baby.
Newborns don't do very much so you might need some entertainment for yourself for when bubs is sleeping.
Good luck for your birth and with baby and congratulations!

The only things I would suggest would be extra snacks, and drink. (I struggle with water, so bottles of drink were handy) and as only main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) were provided. Oh and I was told to order the large meals after delivery as some women get really hungry.

I took Blair a couple of changes of clothes in - he only lived in their gown for part of the first day - oh and I second the mosturiser for your hands
