Just wish I knew more about insoles for kids, I've only had mine for a year and I can see that at least one of my daughters has the same problem so you spurred me into emailing my podiatrist to ask when to get her orthotics.

83cm's is very tall for 15mos, she's almost as tall as my 2yo who is almost off the chart herself!

An orthotic is best inside an already supportive shoe though. Is there any reason why her foot is falling in? Is it a bone "deformity" (sounds awful but that's what it's called) or weak muscle in the arch? If the latter, with some orthotics and/or good shoes, she will grow out of it.

Can your GP refer you to a podiatrist to save you some $$?

She has only just started walking about a week or two ago and her left foot collapses inwards quite dramatically. I had noticed it but was waiting for my Plunket appointment to ask them about it. She said its no concern yet, but to keep an eye on it and to buy "proper" shoes for her.

By "proper" she means expensive, supportive shoes, which is fine I am happy to do that, but what about all the gorgeous shoes I have in her cupboard already!!

Does anyone know if you can get orthodic type insoles for her little shoes so I can make them more supportive?

TIA
