Author: MonicaMouse
Subject: 23303
Posted: 23 December 2008 at 9:53pm

I am interested in hearing your experiences - please.

I have never had an 'end date' in mind for when I plan to stop BF Blair. And now being pregant, and with the MS having started to kick in, am wondering how I'm going to cope - especially over the upcoming weeks.

I've never been a big water drinker, and some days am struggling to get fluid in, which seeing I ended up on a drip last pregnancy at 11.5 weeks due to hyperemesis is a concern for me - but one I'm hoping that I can avoid this time around. (as it turned out I was lucky and my MS finally cleared up at 20 weeks last time - but that seems so far away at the moment)

Blair was off colour last week, and we've dropped off another urine sample today, and he's been having screaming sessions every now and again (but daily) where the only thing that settles him is generally cuddles with me.

I don't know if stopping BF will make me feel better - ie help with the MS, and whether I take the lead or try to get Blair to lead me - by only offering when he actually goes looking for it. Am I best to drop a feed one week at a time - (he's normally on 3 BF a day, but sometimes 2), and we will just transfer him to cows milk. I just I don't want to talk myself into something that may/maynot happen, but I also want to be prepared IYKWIM

Sorry that the post is all over the show, I'm guessing that you've probably guessed that there's a fair bit racing thru my mind, I only want whats best for my children, and I'm hoping that reading your stories may help me work out which direction I need to take
