    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=10387">mum2emj</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 23161<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 December 2008 at 10:08am<br /><br />its not a nice situation! kayla was like that with other kids real loving a little rough on the cuddles- squeezed a bit tight! lol- then she was getting pushed away which eventually lead to her being rough to all kids. teaching her to be gentle is very testing.<br /><br />towards their wee baby brothers is a bit different cause the little ones dont fight/push back. <br /><br />i think the best way is to show them what to do, show them how to be gentle?  make a deal of them being gentle as opposed to being rough? <br /><br />whats worked on one of my kids hasnt worked on another though (lol) so someone else may have some good advice.<br /><br />i was told by plunket it can sometimes be an attention thing, if they do get rougher cause the get a reaction from mummy or daddy.<br /><br />goodluck chonny!! hope that things are going good for you and your gorgeous family :)<br /><br />have a wonderful christmas!! xoxox]]>

He comes up to his baby brother & i know he just wants to show affection & stuff, but is really rough. Leans on him too hard or pushes him or kicks him. i know he loves him to bits as he always gives him hugs & kisses, but how do we teach him that bubbee is not as hard as he thinks & he needs to be soft/gentle?]]>
