All of mine stood alone before they walked, Maya it was only a matter of days, with the gremlins it was longer.

They all did the pulling up as well tho. Maya was pulling up at 7 1/2 mths, cruising the furniture at 8 mths, then stood alone then walked at 10 mths 6 days.

ETA: the gremlins were cruising the furniture around 10 mths, stood independently around 12 mths and walked just before 14 mths.

um just checked her baby book and she stood by herself at 8 1/2 months, first step 9 months 1 week and then started proper walking 9 months 3 weeks. I think (from memory is a bit fuzzy) it took her a couple of weeks from when she started doing what Megan is doing to standing up alone.

thats exactly what Ella did before she started walking. She never walked around holding onto furniture and just taught herself how to stand. I found that when she did stand walking she was quite confident early on because of this.

I wonder if my girl will just stand on her own and then just start walking ,,as opposed to pulling herself up on furniture to stand

over the last few days I have "caught" her doing this
