hehe! I know we'll be flying at the right time to have Madagascar 2 to watch on the flights.

When we flew with Nyah to Fiji, we made sure she had her own carry on luggage and took Dolly with us, she was pretty good both trips. I also agree about taking your own food and drink.

Also make sure you get her up when the aisles are free and let her wander up and down.... you'll find people will stop her and say hello etc.

If you can get an Ergo or sling so you can put her in that when you are waiting to board or in the departure lounges etc. They are also good for the plane if you need to settle her while you're flying.

We did take some toys onto the airplaine when we travelled with our 1 1/2 year old. But when she was tired she would throw away the toy very quickly. And when they are content, anything could be a toy on the airplane, even just a platic/paper bag. So if you already have a lot of stuff with you, don't worry if you have no space for toys.

Don't have any tips but we're flying to Ireland with 2 X 11month olds for Christmas as well. So will be keeping an eye on this thread.

So far I've been told:
Lots of Toys. (only bring one out at a time)
Pack your own food

We'll be going back home to Germany for Christmas. This time little 1year old Alani will be there too. We had her on a 3 hr flight to Rarotonga when she was 8 months old which was a nightmare on the way over and ok on the way back.
