It got really nasty looking so we did end up taking him to the docs. They believe its viral but said its quite a strange looking one so we have to just watch and see if it changes. Spencer had a few rashes like that when he was really little and each time it was just a viral rash.

It could be a reaction as they don't always come out in the first dose. your body recognises the antibiotics on subsequesnt doses and creates the reaction. I would say its a virus. Lauren had a similar rash a few months back and she was covered from head to toe. I took her back to the docs 3 times as I was so convinced it was measles.

The doctor assured me it was a virus that would pass. It took about a week for the rash to go, but she was fine, she just looked awful!

It could possibly be a virus too, so then if it is its nothing to worry about. Maybe go to the docs just to get it checked out.

Sorry the photo isn't in focus. So hard to get a photo of him sitting still lol..

It's on his back, tummy, little on his forehead and starting to appear in the nappy area..

Does that look like measles? Or if not, what?

He's got tonsillitus and is on antibiotics. It's not a reaction to the drugs as he's had this antib before a couple of times with no reaction. He's not unhappy.
