Chloe was a really difficult feeder, latching on and off and screaming, so my boobs would attract a lot of attention One of my friends gave me a Baby Hideaway, and I loved it! It was so easy and convenient and you could still see what was going on with bubba while having a little privacy.

I occasionally use my sling. Its not to big so I can just chuck it in the baby bag . I just put it on and feed her if I ever feel uncomfortable feeding. I use a really large muslin that we used to wrap HAyden in when he was a little 'un, I can usuall fashion it so that all of me is is covered and fold it up from his face but he still gets quite warm - not a prob for us as its nearly winter here but not so great for you going into summer - funny I'm more worried about people seeing my spare tire than the boob but bubs doesnt usually come off during a feed so very rarely get exposed that way. The other thing I did once or twice was to sit there with the stroller parked in front of me. A friend of mine uses one, but it always looked like more hassle than it was worth. I used to just use a very large muslin cloth .. or sit facing the wall ... you eventually get the hang of it and do it without thinking about it really.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone uses a cover when breastfeeding in public? I'm not sure if it's just another thing to spend money on, or if it would be actually useful?

I try to sit facing the corner etc if I am feeding in a busy cafe, and I'm not overly worried about people seeing me feeding but now my DD is getting bigger she looks around lots more leaving me exposed!!!

I tried using a wide pashmina (sp) scarf thingie but had trouble holding it out from her head (DH had to help me hold it), and she ended up pretty sweaty afterwards! I know you can feed in a sling, but we have the buggy in town so that's not an option...
