Most probably a growth spurt. Babie's tummy's are so tiny they don't stay full for very long.  Anyone who has a child under 1 (2,3...and beyond lolz) who doesn't have sleep changes is few and far between. The joys of parenthood! lolz]]>

We'd have 3 great nights with just one wake up and just as I was celebrating, he'd go back to 2 wakeups. If he woke before 2am it was always an ominous sign.<br /><br />Sorry - no advice, just lots of sympathy and mental hugs!]]>

Also it's perfectly normal for babies to wake that many times a night.  The ones that sleep thru, their parents are the lucky ones.  It could be a growth spurt, and yes their routines do change around that age, I know Coopers did.<br /><br />Hang in there, it will get better.]]>

I went to a course on The growing baby (4 - 6months) and the educator said around 3 - 4 months their routines change, and talking to a few other mums this seems to be the case with sleeping and feeding. I'm just feeding when DD wakes in the night now, takes half hour and much easier than trying to re-settle her in the middle of the night.<br />Good luck and hope you start getting some more rest soon <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> <br /><br /><font size="1">ETA; for spelling</font><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by aussiegirl</span>]]>

She is definitely hungry at night too!<br /><br />We don't do a dream feed, as I found it made no difference with her as to what time she next woke up, and it just disrupted her sleep. (we might try again once she's 4 months)<br /><br />I think unfortunately you might just have to ride it out? Sebastien was almost sleeping through 2 weeks ago and has now gone back to feeding once through the night and last night it was twice.  I put it down to their 3 month growth spurt.  Unfortunately I think at this stage their routines are all over the place.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18031">tropics</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 21754<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 October 2008 at 4:48am<br /><br />hi ladies<br /><br />we were in a good pattern of waking once in the night now this week and last week Jayden has had quite a few nights of waking twice, last week it was 3 this week its been three too<br /><br />he seems to be waking for feeds 3 hours from the last at night <br /><br />We do the dream feed thing around 10 but he most often wakes for it and generally has a good amount then, some of the night feeds he drinks more than he would some of the day feeds so he must be hungry then<br /><br />I generally feed him every 3 hours during the day but some days he snacks a bit which I am trying to stop....<br /><br />what have others done to get them out of this phase cause its tiring!!!<br /><br />thanks]]>
