my friends boy did this all the time and he was real quick, hehe! Caprece does it too and started it just before walking. Apparently I never crawled went straight to hands and feet then walked (at 11 months) Daniel is now doing push ups!!  Up on hands and feet ,down again ,back up, down again...  it is quite funny to watch he will stay up on his hands and feet for ages not moving just looking around smiling... (he's not crawling at all yet so maybe he'll do the same thing)

That sounds right, he was doing it on the carpet as well today but he was in the nuddy at the time. My boy has done that randomly. So instead of crawling on his knees he is crawling on his hands and feet. Not all the time and mostly on the tiled and lino floors. It's pretty hilarious, not sure if it is part of him trying to learn to walk as at the moment he still just cruises and walks holding our hands.
