Our baby did this from birth till she started solids.  It started getting flecks of blood in it and we were referred to the specialist.  Midwife, GP and nurses had never seen it before.  It was very stringy and looked just like snot but there was heaps of it, not just the odd bit.  She seemed to clear up once she started solids and the specialist hadnt seen it and did not know what it was either.  <br />I would say that its fine but just keep checking it for blood then get your doctor onto it.  ]]>
