I missed the news but DH ws just reading the news on line and mentioned it to me...how sad!!

I am flying to fiji in 3 weeks and I will be 28 weeks and guess what is going thru my head right now!! My MW says I will be fine but still this will be at the back of my head!

I see these things and think oh god I hope its not an OB lady. Same with the wee 2 year old killed in chch, start running through my head who on here in chch has a two year old (it wasnt me!)

Apparently she was only in proper labour for something like 10 minutes? Well that's what it said on the news anyway. Must be a horrible experience for all to go through, and my heart goes out to the parents. Just been on the 6 o'clock news. The mother and her hubby were flying back to Auckland from Brisbane. She was 34 weeks and went into labour mid-air. The bubba was born before the plane could land. 2 nurses on plane did all they could but the poor wee bubba didn't make it without the necessary medical help. So sad to hear this and my thoughts are with the mum and dad.
