With DS he was born at 7.25pm at night and they wanted me up and about 12 hours after the op. From memory I think I started to come right by week 3.

When did you start driving again?

my first one i was up and about a couple of hours after the c/s and by the time DH went back to work 2wks later, i was back to normal

2nd time round there was complications in surgery and i didn't get out of bed until day 2.   i still recovered pretty quickly though, was out shopping the day after i 'got out' and basically back to normal 2-3wks later.
