I was worried particularly cos i wasn't bfing that she would come down with a cold, so I was really fussy about washing my hands all the time and she hasn't been sick (touchwood) for one single day of her life yet.

These last for 6 months.

A Dr told me this a week ago, after I was complaining about A being sick despite still breastfeeding - he said she was only getting limited antibodies from the bm now - the main protection when she was little was the placental antibody (which has now run out).
