We kept trying her down but after about 3 weeks of no sleep we gave up. We just bought her arvo sleep forward and she then used to sleep between 2 - 3hrs for that one. I think she was the earliest in our coffee group to do so and I was gutted!! Then at 21 months she began dropping that sleep! She will have a sleep about once a week now
I am hoping my 6 month old will keep 2 sleeps way longer, for my sanity!

My house hasn't been tidy since. I have decided to give her the opportunity to sleep anyway and pop her down. I then have a shower and if she's still awake, I'll get her up. The thing is sometimes she'll sleep, other times she won't. I think so long as you still give them the opportunity to do so.

Your baby's a bit older than mine though so really I'm clueless!!

He's been sick with a cold and ear infections so that's probably added to his 'tiredness'. He's had a few days of 2hr nap in morning and 2 hr nap in afternoon.
But then today didn't go down till about 10.30 till about 12 and went down again at about 2pm! I just go with the flow...
I am with Mum2Ella... I'm in NO RUSH for those naps to stop, as my first boy fought all naps and only did 40min ones irregularly (as well as waking all night) Tyde sleeps all night from 6.30/7pm till 6.30/7am most mornings!
