I'm gutted. DH has woken up feeling like crap and I just don't have the heart to leave him all alone with the kids when he's sick, even though I really, really want to come!

Yep I have sent Chiara a stern warning about staying put till after I arrive and if she decides to try and come on the Saturday we will just have to relocate dinner to the maternity ward of where we will be and Emma can have gas between mouthfuls of  food.

Deb just discovered there is a Lonestar in Manukau now, might not be as crowded as the Newmarket one and there is free parking.

Menu costs about the same as Traffic but they do do 3/4 meals which are cheaper and some of their starters are big enough to have as main meals...

That is their actual menu, Kels.
It's pretty standard stuff for Downtown.

If you're a steak kinda girl I can highly recommend the Beef Fillet - it's soooo tender you hardly have to chew it at all - cooked to perfection and of course they do chips YUM!

Did you have a look at the Tapas menu? As most of you know, Kels is coming up to join the madness when Chiara arrives and it's her birthday while she's here so I was thinking a mums dinner is in order.

I'm open to suggestions re: venue but I was thinking Traffic bar in town is cool. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere and yummy food, and parking isn't tooooo expensive in the evenings.
