Well you could use this as an example.. I went for a scan, there was a possibility of it being ectopic and I was told to go immediately to the hospital, not to go home, not to go to the gp's etc.

If it was really really bad I think the MW would have said something like what I was told and perhaps go with her straight to the hospital.

Well if it was totally serious she would be told to go to hopsital rather than to the docs.

And stressing will only make it go higher so she needs to calm down and try hard to relax a bit (which I know would be hard). Her MW is probably just being cautious.

Hi,
my bestie just saw er MW and her MW told her her heart is racing and she has to go to the doctor asap as its not good and she needs to be seen asap to check it out, so anyway we are goin to the doc in 1hour and im goin with her because she is so scared and emotional (30 weeks preg)

has anyone heard of this (or had it!) at all and how do u think i can calm her down a bit???
