Have you tried the weleda teething powder? I think that helps. Anyssa is also wearing an amber teething necklace and maybe it helps - I've noticed her cheeks are red in the morning, but not after the necklace has been on for an hour. Other OhBaby Mums have noticed some improvement with the necklaces too.

ohh noo topsy that sux, jett was like that a few weeks ago he started getting a bit better last week and today i noticed 2 new teeth about to pop thru:)

sometimes jett just gets bored of "MUM" all the time too and soon as dh gets home hes happy as which can be a bit upsetting.

I think we all go through this, where you of course 'love' your baby, but some days you don't 'like' them very much! Definitely sounds like teething, and unfortunately could go on for a wee while yet. Topsy it sucks aye? But she might be done (for the moment) by Wednesday. Rowan's been teething on and off for 2 weeks and she's good as gold in between.

Icecubes in muslin are a godsend here. Plus Bonjela. But unfortunately she has days where she has her bonjela, pamol, ice, teething toys and it just doesn't work. Yeah they're not much fun then.



Oh and 11months! Dear god! Don't get put off Sydney as you'll have DH round 24/7 so you actually get a wee break, maybe

Things change so quickly with kids so by tomorrow she maybe sweet. You never really know.

Also pick up some neurofen before you go so you have something to fall back on if it all turns to custard.

Aw Topsy! I think it comes in waves, I don't think they're constantly like that. Jack had about a week of it where he just screamed, wouldn't go to bed till about 11pm etc etc, pamol and bonjela were godsends, plus I just gave him as many teething toys as possible and lots and lots of cuddles. It's not nice though, esp seeing your wee one in pain. Had ears checked on friday so it is definitely not that. Pretty sure it is teething. She has screamed all day and is losing her voice- I feel so sorry for her but just have to put her in her cot to get a break from it. Please tell me that teething wont always be like this!!

Peanut, If I leave her it only gets worse.

I was thinking ears as well. I am hearing you, Topsy! Days like that so sux and a week and a half would be a living hell. I hate it when you have tried everything and are still left with a grizzler!

I can only second the pamol and bonjela but am guessing you a doing that anyway...Neurofen is great and I have resorted to it a couple of times when Mac was impossible.

I also think they are going thru the phase where they notice us more. I find Mac gets grizzly when left now wher as he use to be quite happy on his own...just that wee bit more attention seeking.

What happens if you do leave her? Does she settle herself down and start playing. I find Mac gets bored of crying after 5 or so mins and just starts playing with his toys.

Yeah I would try some pamol too, teething can really suck. Also do you have a fresh food feeder cos I find that Spencer loves to suck on ice cubes when he's teething.

Teething really sucks. We had a bad teether and it wasn't fun. He never ended up cutting a tooth until he was 11 months either, and he now has them all. So he got them over pretty quickly once he started cutting them. I hope teething goes quickly for you too. Pamol or nurofen were the only things that worked for us when Lockie was teething.

Bella has been sooo grizzley for the past week and a half. She dosnt seem to be sick but is showing many teething signs. I cant even put her on the ground by herself as she screams, I try to play with her and she screams. Nothing makes her happy and consequently I am not enjoying her at the moment. I find it hard to smile at her because she just crys/grizzles at me no matter how much I try to make her happy. I look forward to her nap times as she is not much fun Feeling sad that I feel this way but it is no fun at all.
