The longer you're on the Pill, the longer it can take to come out of your system. yup i also had that, i went off the pill a few years ago, had light af then nothing for about 7 weeks. It turned up the day after my third HPT.

I was gutted, i really thought we had conceived. In the end we decided not to ttc and wait a little longer.

Hi Claire,

I had a similar thing after I went off the pill and didn't get my period for 40 days, but then after that it was relatively regular. So it could just be that? Or maybe you are pregnant but it's just too early :)

Hi everyone,

I stopped taking the pill almost 6 weeks ago, and had a short but heavy period straight after I stopped, but nothing since. My periods before I went on the pill were always regular about every 29 days (have been on the pill for 6 years), so I'm thinking that I'm overdue for AF. I did a preg test on Saturday and it was a BFN.

Does anyone know if this is normal after coming off the pill?
