I had an ear infection which has left me with tinitus so I went to see ENT specialist which cost $150 he wanted me to have an MRI (just to be 100% sure all was ok) so as I don't have insurance and it was non urgent I just got him to refer me on the public system.]]>

I know they do grommet surgery every Friday afternoon and usually get through about 10-14 kids in one afternoon which has shortened the list considerably. I think its the actual wait to see a surgeon that takes the longest...<br /><br />We might be going down that route too...Bella is on her 5th ear infection since February, 3 lots of AB's and she's still gummed up <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> ]]>

For those not in the know, she has been on AB's 3 times since the start of the year. So I have asked him to refer us to a ENT specialist to try and get some answers, in your experience how long did it take to be seen??<br /><br />We are in Chch. ]]>
