Luke didn't roll from front to back till 8.5 months, when he did roll he took off rollong everywhere. Where as my 6 month old niece was roliing at 5 months. Every baby's different. My baby is nearly nine months old and she couldn't care less about rolling. Kryssi wasn't much of a roller. She seemed to give up. Being long wouldn't have helped her. With the turning when on her back, that's probably a sign she's gearing up to roll. Harry started doing this a couple of weeks ago, spinning himself when lying on his back. And then a few days ago he surprised us by rolling over - I think it's the next step.

Also we find that Harry is MUCH more wriggly during nappy off time, maybe it's cos he feels so free (lol) and doesn't have any clothes constricting his movement. Maya was never a roller either, she didn't roll over at all till a couple of weeks before she crawled at 8 mths, she just had no interest in it at all. Yet she then walked at 10 months.

She's probably not ready, Cooper only started rolling over at 6-7mths, and even now at a day short of 8mths he doesnt' do it alot.    I wouldn't worry, she'll do it when you least expect it.
