I switched to Washberry soap nuts a couple of months ago, and love them. I use them for all my washing from work clothes, to my husbands work clothes to babies clothes and nappies. They are great. For grubbier things I use a couple of extra nuts and use warm water and everything comes out smelling great and really clean. Yip! (By the way there is a thread in the cloth nappy discussion about them). I like them. They are much better if used in warm water though, so if you don't want to do that then maybe it's not such a good idea. I use them mainly for washing MCN's at the moment, but have used them with all my washing. I have found them good.
