But I guess it has probably been the 'heaviest' one I think since dec. Had a bit of tissue appearance so thats what made me wonder if it had been another mc.

It is a possibility JadeC. I wonder how I'd know for sure. But my af as arrived and its been quite thick and mucousy, similar to mc i had, so thats what is making me wonder. a normal af for me is light with no mucous stuff whatsoever. But i think i'll talk about this with my doctor. The link you gave me mentioned baby asprin,,is this why most women take that? I have read on thread with women saying they take it.

And thankyou for the continued support BellaBabysMum, it means alot to me being about to come on here and talk about things.

Hey Neferiti - *hugs* that AF arrived. I missed this thread completely until now, but I had EXACTLY the same result (with same HPT) as you on Christmas day last year and thought I could've been pregnant (search for evaportation line thread by me) but like you, on further tests BFN. Then AF showed up on the 28th. I was told that these tests were pretty good at not having false positives, so it remains a mystery! I still have the test too! The good thing for me (and hopefully you if you follow my trend! is that the next month I fell pregnant!! Hi BellaBabysMum. I'm doing ok. But af is definately here now. So I have no idea what caused that test to show positive the other day. Perhaps I am unlucky enough to get a rare false positive. But now I am analysising everything when I go to the loo, IYKWIM. I guess thats natural after a recent mc.
Thanks for thinking of me. Unfortunately DP just doesn't understand how I really feel. He just gives me a hug and says we can try again.
I really really feel for the ladies who try for many months, even years. I just don't think I could do that.

Haven't told DP, but if I conceive and go to term this cycle, I'll be due boxing day lol

Well i think its all over for me. I had had some odd spotting and after testing this morning it has gone to a brighter red and more consistency. Although still not enough for a pad etc.
But I'm not holding out any hope, even after yesterday 'positive' test.

I've heard of false negatives, but never false positives.

I tested with fmu and it was a negative!    A very clear negative, even at 10 minutes!

Maybe I should try 2nd pee of day like some have said,,,or am I grasping at straws?

Have you re-tested yet Nefertiti?
I know when I re-tested the next morning with FMU I was up at 5:35am with three tests

**ETA: These were all of differing brands, too.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one, too. This place makes me feel like less of a nut-job

De ja vu! That was exactly the test I used, so you can probably see how I stuffed up the instructions. I got one BFP within 2 min but the others (yes there were multiple tests done in 24 hours ) gave BFP around 6-7 min and the Docs one gave BFN!

I'd say YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!!!! but very very early. If you can hold off, give it a day or two and try again.

That's definitely not an evap! And Quickcard's aren't known for evaps either.

I have read the instructions and it says to read at 5 mins and discard any results after that. The negative came through pale for the first couple mins. Then I didn't look at it again until 5 - 10 mins...but definately with 10 minutes. These pic were taken just now,,,maybe 1.5-2hrs since I did it, but they have remained the same...colour hasn't darkened or anything..
What do you think? I have also had the odd spotting...so hopeing its implantation!

Edited to add....actually, maybe it has got a little darker ... just a tad if i look closely!

How soon after a negative test do you think an evaporation line would appear on a quick start test? The same tests m/w and doctors have?
