Yep, sounds like a HSG. I had one done a few months ago. No big deal - about the same level of discomfort as having a smear although it takes longer. I think they usually take two x-rays; one with you lying on your back and one on your side, and they show you the slides and interpret it straight away. Can someone please help me? I saw the Dr today and am being referred for an operation where dye is put through to check if your fallopian tubes are blocked (or something similar). Does anyone know the name of it so i can google it? I've got a complete blank over what he said and am too impatient to wait until tomorrow to phone him.
