For anyone who hasn't heard about marmite and is having trouble with a baby refusing to take the breast it really does work!

Ruby took both sides first thing this morning while tucked up with us and then screamed almost the whole time I was at my friend's house this morning, wouldn't take the breast only bottle, same thing when we were out at a cafe this afternoon with some other babies. I was getting pretty upset as I am trying to hang onto BF.

So when I got home tried the marmite trick and it works! Yay! Ruby tends to work herself up and with a nipple in her mouth she just cries and cries more and needs to calm down before she takes the breast (and today even calming down didn't work) .... smeared the marmite on, she cried, I put the nipple in and when she realised it was marmite flavoured she happily sucked away (I was so relieved!!! I didn't want her to wean herself!).
