My sister was using one when my nephew was 7 months old. Was so easy to throw in/out of the car....I have a Phil & Ted buggie....its very easy to collapse...but can be a bit heavy to get in/out of boot of car....and small lightweight stroller sounds very easy!!! Think by the time Ella is 6 months old we'll invest in one. Josh was 6 months when I started using it. Andrew was 2 as I only brought it when he turned 2.

I have Lauren in hers occassionally and have since day one, but it lays right back and I put a head support thingy in it. Its just to pop into the mall etc, not for long periods of use, I have a Mountain Buggy for that!

Yeah I think when they have good head control & strong back. You could put your baby in one in the shop & see how she sits in it, if she slouches right over then still not old enough. Daniel is 7 months and I don't like him in those lil strollers just yet and he has great head control and is strong etc. But that might just be me. You know the kind of strollers that are lightweight...small...compact....easily thrown in the boot of the car (instead of the big/bulky buggie).....

Does baby have to be a certain age/weight to go in these safely?
