Your doctor's not the only one to suggest this...mine also told me to help keep my endo under control I should just stay pregnant!! lol My sister, who went to this doctor, took that advice on board and had her kids one after the other ...BUT she never had any problems with her endo in between times. Now just to convince my DH hehe!! I'm trying not to get all mental over it this time and just relax, easier to say than do aye! Last time it took us 18 months (can you imagine 18 months of mental TTC me!?!?! lol). Due to the amount and frequency of my pains, our Spec is giving us 6 months before he wants to see us again and discuss surgery.

After yet another hideously painful AF I went back to my specialist and talked to him about the option of having a laparoscopy to see if all this pain was being caused by endo.

Had a looooooong chat with him and he gave us 2 options

#1 have the op, see what he finds, try for baby in 2009 as planned.

or

#2 try for baby now, hormones from placenta will deal to any endo if its there, when in OR for elective C/S insert mirena which would help with AF pains afterwards.

My specialist was all for #2. I think this is the only specialist I have ever met who was anti-surgery! lol

SO.... after a long discussion about our finances with our Spec (weird huh! lol) we agreed that not much would change in our financial situation between now and 2009 so bringing it forward would make no difference and hopefully, all going to plan with me getting pregnant in the next 6 months, I won't need the surgery at all!

So here we go, back on the TTC journey! DH and I are SO EXCITED!
