I would just go swimming with them, there isnt much they do that you cant do, just watch a lesson and copy it. ]]>

Not sure about private swim schools.<br /><br />If you have a bath, that will be enough for Megan while she is still little, to get her used to the feel of the water and having it over her head etc. and it won't have the yucky chlorine or heaps of noise from other kids etc. that might not be a great first experience for her.  Get her enjoying bath times (and put her in the water at other times too if you want), or in the hot summer months a paddling pool in the back yard is a good option too - I love sitting in the paddling pool with DD, cools me off too!]]>

Sam goes to a private swim school and they are ok from 3 months, although the pool is usually pretty warm.  We have a 4 month old in our class that swims like a fish already! Under 3 months they can't regulate their own body temperatures.<br /><br />Good idea though, Samantha loves swimming lessons and has just started learning how to do dolphin dives underwater.
