I made the other side interesting for her but she still seems to go the other way and i dont want the flat part to get worse!!

Our plunket nurse recommended heaps of tummy time, which luckily Mercedes enjoyed, and she eventually started sleeping with her head on alternate sides of her own accord, and now her flat patch is barely even noticeable, it's rounded itself out nicely.

We had a wedge as well but from really young he was able to just barge his way on to his back again.

I would think if he is sitting up and spending less time on his head then that would probably do as good as job as getting him to sleep on his side.
I've tried sleeping him in the wedge to put him more on his side, but he wriggles round and gets uncomfortable which wakes him up. He sleeps in Grobags so I'm not sure is a Safe T Sleep is the way to go and it's a expensive thing to but and try if it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Will it just get better now he's sitting up more? He's six months old now so he will be spending less time on his head anyway?

Edited by Tricia
