Well after his decent nap and missing a feed, he woke at 4.30 this morning! Then at 5.30 and has been awake ever since! Think I'll wake him next time! I would leave him, he will wake if he gets too hungry and baby generally sleep really well at night if they have slept well during the day.

But yes I would have woken him. Personally I'd wake him, especially if he's missed two feeds and you have him on a 3/4hrly feeding schedule. It might make it very difficult for you later on in the evening/night, to get him settled for his big sleep.

I know I shoudn't complain about him sleeping but he's missed nearly two feeds! My six month old has been asleep in the back of the car (parked in the garage with the doors open)since we got back from shopping just after lunch.

I've been in to check him a few times and he is sound asleep. He never normally sleeps more than and hour during the day.
