We learned to keep cuddles with others short. I think they go through a clingy stage when Mum is all that matters, but sometimes also go through another stage at 6mos where if they can't see you, they think you've disappeared! LOL. It was a good 8-9mos before all our girls warmed up to extended family.]]>

I just did the same as Mum2Ella, would let them hold her but stay close so she could see me.  She is now back to going to anyone happily (I almost wish she wouldn't go so easily).<br />Oh,and don't worry - in a couple of months she will start to realise that when you put her to bed she is actually alone - then the fun really starts<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley12.gif" border="0"> ]]>

Ultimately though you are Kylah's mummy and she is "just" being clingy...I'm sure your mum does understand! ]]>

She did grow out it and will now be happily cuddled by other people. <br />I think I still got my family to hold her- but just for a short period of time and I stood beside them so that she could see me and knew I wasn't going away. ]]>

Its really embarrassing isnt it - she would even cry just looking at them!  Unfortunately there isnt a lot you can do until she gets past it. Im not kidding, she screams her little heart out and doesnt stop.. not till i take her away and cuddle her.. my mum thought kylah just didnt like her, but its not just her its everone.
